Most people do not know they can be sedated for a regular

dental appointment.

It is called oral sedation.

It is a tablet.

It goes under your tongue.

This is minimal sedation.

You are awake and you are aware.

But you are loopy, you are relaxed, and you are not really

aware of what is happening.

For most people with real anxiety about this, that is the part

that matters.

If you want to be completely knocked out, that is a hospital

setting.

That is general anaesthetic, and it is a much more involved procedure.

We do not do laughing gas here.

We do not do IV sedation.

We do the tablet.

For most nervous patients, that is the one that is actually needed.

You will need someone to drive you home.

That is the main catch.

But if the reason you have not been in years is that

you cannot face being awake for it, that reason has an answer.
