something is wearing them down.

Chipping teeth.
Chipping is an active process.
Worth looking at, not worth panicking about.

Gums that bleed when you floss.
Not normal, however common it is.
Early gum disease is completely reversible.
Later, it is not.

A metallic taste, or morning breath that brushing does not fix.
Usually gum related.
Occasionally something else.

A mouth ulcer that has not healed in two weeks.

Any white or red patch on your tongue that has not gone
in two weeks.
Almost always nothing.
